Dr. Barré specializes in the non-operative and operative treatment of general orthopedic conditions and injuries. During her time in residency and fellowship, Dr. Barré acted as team physician for collegiate basketball teams, high school football teams, and a professional hockey team. She was the team physician for Orange Park High School football team and organized community-wide free high school physicals in Jacksonville. She served as Chairperson of Orthopedics and has been on the teaching faculty in Orthopedics for Family Practice residents.
A native of Tallahassee, Dr. Barré now resides in Sarasota with her husband and two children. Her interests include exercise, golf, cooking, travel, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and beach activities with her family. With her background as a former physical therapist, she realizes the importance of a team relationship with her patients and supports open communication to return them to their normal function.
Dr Born earned dual undergraduate degrees, graduating cum laude in both Classical Studies and Chemistry. During his studies, he earned numerous awards and accolades including induction into the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society and the Excellence in Medical Neuroscience Award from USF College of Medicine.
In conjunction with his Sports Medicine specialty, Dr Born served as team physician for high school football teams while in Minnesota. He also served as team physician for Brown University varsity teams as well as the Providence Bruins AHL hockey team. Locally, he is team physician for the Lakewood Ranch High School Mustangs.
Dr Born is a native of Bradenton, having graduated from Bayshore High as valedictorian. He enjoys football, basketball, golf, guitar, and spending time with his wife, Diana.
Dr Farino has a specialty in hand & wrist reconstruction, offering the latest in surgical developments and techniques. He has treated the orthopedic needs of sports teams and athletes, including the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also worked with the Under-18 U.S. soccer team as well as student athletes at IMG/Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton.
Dr Farino advocates personalized care saying, “I’ve always treated patients as family members. I talk with them about their challenges, offer best possible solutions, and together, we come to a consensus as to the best treatment for their situation.” He strongly believes in staying involved in all aspects of patient care from initial diagnosis to post-operative rehabilitation. “I believe the decisions made, or not made, in the post-operative period are as important as the decision to perform surgery and the operation itself.”
Dr Furman has been with our group for over 34 years. During that time he served locally as Chief of Orthopedics at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital, and Orthopedic Director for Health South (now Encompass) Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr Furman is widely published in orthopedic medical journals and is a consultant to the orthopedic industry. He has traveled internationally to lecture and instruct on joint replacement surgery. He is a strong advocate for community education and his main focus is on arthritis.
Dr. Graham originates from Lakeland, Florida. As a Podiatrist, he is trained to treat all problems related to the foot and ankle with both surgical and conservative modalities.
Community service is an important part of Dr. Graham’s profession. He recalls a faith-based medical mission to Ghana, West Africa as a life-shaping event that affirmed his commitment to serve others. Dr Graham brings his mentorship experience to Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties. He resides here with his wife and two children. Interests include visual arts, live music, track and field, basketball, and family vacations.
Dr Kotcharian previously served a most distinguished career in medicine as Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and as Assistant Fellowship Director of the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Fellowship, both at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an expert at both diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures including steroid injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency denervation.
Dr Kotcharian enjoys outdoor activities with his family and is a “foodie”. He is active in the sport of martial arts since his youth and continues to practice Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate. He proudly achieved and holds the rank of 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. Dr Kotcharian is fluent in multiple languages including Russian and Spanish. When time allows, he is fond of playing chess, reading, meditation, exercise, and painting.
Dr. Lento specializes in the non-surgical treatment of various musculoskeletal problems by identifying the cause of musculoskeletal pain or loss of function and determines whether the problem is mechanical, inflammatory, or degenerative. Together with a variety of non-surgical strategies, Dr. Lento addresses these problems which enable patients to get back to enjoying life.
His specialty also incorporates the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSK US). MSK US is a non-invasive imaging test used to diagnose tendon, muscle, and ligament tears without the use of ionizing radiation or concern for claustrophobia that is associated with MRI. There are also no issues with metal such as pacemakers or other implantable devices. Dr Lento uses this imaging technique when necessary to accurately and precisely guide injections directly into problematic areas.
Dr. Steven Page is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and shoulder and knee joint replacements. He received Fellowship training in sports medicine at the renowned UHZ Sports Medicine Institute at the University of Miami. During his Fellowship, Dr. Page was the team physician for numerous athletes from the Miami Hurricanes, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Locally, he is the sports medicine physician for the Sarasota High School Sailors. Dr. Page treats patients of all ages with an interest in both young and aging athletes. He is trained in the most advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, however, often uses many nonsurgical treatments including PRP and Stem Cells. Dr. Page will always discuss all available options with his patients and treats every patient the way he would treat a family member.
Dr. Page enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two young children. He enjoys beach activities with his children, boating, and is an avid scuba diver.
Dr. Raye’s research appears in several medical journals and his clinical trials have proven valuable in stem cell repair and spinal stenosis treatment. He belongs to the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, Spine Intervention Society, Academy of Integrative Pain Management, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Throughout his medical training, Dr. Raye has provided medical coverage at the USA Cup Soccer Tournament, Twin Cities Marathon, Susan Komen 3-Day Event, and the NCAA Division II men’s soccer team at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.
Dr. Raye is a native of Bradenton, returning to his hometown to give back to our community. During his free time, he enjoys soccer, football, basketball, biking, fishing, boating, the beach, traveling with family and friends and, of course, Florida Gator athletics.
As an advocate for improving the quality of life for his patients, Dr. Silverstein believes that open communication between physicians and patients is key to successful outcomes. He is trained in the latest techniques for orthopedic care of hip and knee replacements, including direct anterior hip replacements and traumatic fractures. His patients are offered both surgical and non-surgical options. When surgery is necessary, Dr. Silverstein may perform less invasive techniques including muscle sparing incisions, partial knee replacements, robotic-assisted technology, and custom patient-specific implants.
Dr. Silverstein hails from West Virginia, now living in Florida with his wife and two children. He enjoys staying active with cross-training, cycling, tennis, skiing, golf, and international travel.

Dr. Born performed a “massive” rotator cuff repair on my shoulder in August. Seven months post-surgery, I have 98% range of motion and I am back to playing golf! I highly recommend these great surgeons and physical therapists.

Dr. Lento is a terrific doctor….knowledgeable, professional, informative and highly skilled. I have seen him for knee and shoulder pain. His goal is to eradicate pain in the least invasive way and I have been completely satisfied with my treatment and outcomes. I highly recommend him!
I want to thank Dr. Mandel. I at the age of 49 have never had surgery or even a broken bone. Dr Mandel made me feel so confident knowing I would have to have surgery on my ankle. Hearing this I cried like a baby, but he assured me I would be fine. Four days post-surgery I’m very pleased. He took the time and comforted me. Thank you Dr Mandel!!
Dr. Kotcharian is a very sympathetic physician who takes time to listen to your concerns. His bedside manner is outstanding. I have seen him a few times for injections, and each time he explains the procedure step-by-step and explains what to expect. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls. I would recommend him in an instant to my family and friends.

Dr. Silverstein is the best, he figured out my hip problem when no one else could. I had TRH replacement and for the first time in almost 5 years I can walk up the stairs with no pain. I can sleep without that terrible pain that kept me up all night. I owe him so much, thank you doctor. If you want a new, young doctor who treats you like a human being Dr. Silverstein is that doctor.
