Botox is FDA-approved for the preventive management of chronic migraines in individuals who experience frequent headache days and have not achieved adequate relief through preventive medications.
This treatment is medical, not cosmetic. Botox for migraines is administered in-office at scheduled intervals as part of a structured treatment plan. Many patients experience fewer migraine days and reduced symptom severity over time.
